INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

Signing Up For Turck Information
When you sign up for information from Turck, you must fill out a form to provide various pieces of potentially personally-identifiable information (“PII”). PII is information that may identify you personally versus non-personally-identifiable information (“NPII”) that has either been scrubbed of information that identifies you personally (e.g. deidentified) or collected in a way so as to not intentionally identify the user. Subject to change at Turck’s discretion, Turck may require at least one e-mail address from you to sign you up for information regarding Turck’s website, products, and services. By supplying such information, whether PII or NPII, you agree that Turck can contact you using the information you supply with information regarding its website, products, and services.

Communications with Turck
In addition to using your PII to sign you up to receive information about Turck’s website, products, and services, we may use this information to respond to your requests, and facilitate your use of the website and Turck products and services. We may also collect additional PII and NPII through any e-mail, telephone, or other contact you have with Turck regarding its website, products, or services. We may also use your PII and NPII to provide you with communications regarding our website, products, and services.

Location Information
You may also tell us your exact location if you choose to enable your computer or mobile device to send us location information and such functionality is enabled in the Turck website or any mobile application or website. We may keep track of how you interact with links across our websites and other communications, including in our e-mail notifications. We do this to help improve our services and to be able to analyze aggregate click statistics such as how many times a particular link was clicked on. Turck’s websites may contain links to other websites. Turck is not responsible for the information practices or the content of such other websites. Additional Information Collected Though Websites
Turck may gather and collect NPII, including, but not limited to, any of the following when you use our websites: (1) IP addresses (the Internet address of a computer) to track a user's session while the user remains anonymous, (2) computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system, and platform, (3) the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstream to, though, and from the website, including date and time, (4) cookie number, (5) information you viewed or searched for, and (6) your mobile carrier and device type if accessing the website by mobile device. Turck may analyze this information for certain trends in statistics, such as which parts of the website users visit and how long they spend there. During some visits to the website, Turck may use software tools such as JavaScript to measure and collect session information (which is NPII), including page response times, download errors, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

Like many websites, we may use "cookie" technology to collect additional website usage data and to improve our services. A cookie is a small data file that is transferred to your computer's hard disk. Turck may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to better understand how you interact with our services, to monitor aggregate usage by our users and web traffic routing on our services, and to customize and improve our services. Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies. If you do not want cookies from Turck or other websites, you can instruct your browser, by changing its settings, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. However, some services may not function properly if you disable cookies.

Web Beacons
Turck may employ Web beacons (also called single-pixel gifs), which are customized links or similar technologies, when sending you messages, newsletters, or promotional e-mails. Web beacons allow Turck to (a) determine whether you have opened, or acted upon, a promotional e-mail and which links you have clicked on in order to deliver to you more focused communications and other content, (b) allow Turck to count the number of users who have visited certain Web pages and effectively deliver co-branded services, and (c) enable Turck to compile aggregated statistics and determine the efficacy of promotions by using Web beacons from third parties, without allowing such third parties to use Web beacons to collect or access your PII.

Third-Party Service Providers
Turck may use a variety of third-party services to help provide our services, such as hosting our website and to help us understand the use of our website, such as through Google Analytics. These third-party service providers may collect information as further dictated by the Privacy Policies of those third parties.

Turck may store any of the information collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy. Such information will be used to provide and enhance the Turck website, products, and services, and as otherwise indicated in this Privacy Policy.

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

Service Providers

Turck Does Not Otherwise Share Your Information
Turck will not sell, rent or lease your PII to others without your consent, except as provided in this Privacy Policy. In general, the information you provide will be used to support your customer relationship with Turck and to enhance and improve our website, products, and services. Turck may share NPII information with others. Turck also may combine your information with data we collect or receive from other companies and sources (such as demographic data) to improve and personalize our website, products, and services.

Law and Harm
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Policy, we may preserve or disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect Turck’s rights or property. However, nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any legal defenses or objections that you may have to a third party's, including a government's, request to disclose your information.

Business Transfers
In the event that Turck is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your PII and NPII may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. The promises in this Privacy Policy will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity.

MODIFYING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you believe that Turck has incorrect information regarding you, you may contact Turck using the e-mail address info@turck.com and request that your information be corrected.

DO NOT TRACK

Presently Turck does not offer you the opportunity to request that Turck not track your use of its websites except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the policy will govern our use of your information and will always be at www.turck.us/privacy . If we make a change to this policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you via an e-mail or message to the e-mail address or other contact information you have provided to Turck. By continuing to access or use the websites after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.

SUBJECT TO TURCK TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

This Privacy Policy is subject to the terms set forth in the Turck Terms and Conditions of Service including without limitation all provisions regarding warranty disclaimers, limits of liability, and dispute resolution mechanisms such as the jurisdiction and venue provisions.
